TRUST REGISTRY MAPPING - WHAT IS IT?
We propose an infrastructure component ensuring the interaction of SSI actors regardless of the network they belong to. In addition, we are exploring the potential of the reputation system making the processes much more trustworthy.
WHY DO WE NEED A TRUST REGISTRY?
Trust registry covers the infrastructural gap in the SSI concept. The are plenty of scattered SSI networks with their own issuers and verifiers. Methods to build bridges are already present, but end-users are not incentivized enough to utilize them.
End-users are not given a simple way to discover issuers, services proposed by verifiers and their possession requirements.
HOW OUR PRODUCT FLOW ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
The holder has access to VC marketplace (either to a traditional web service, a decentralized app or even a component built in his wallet).
Using the search module, the holder discovers proper issuers and verifiers; credential types and requirements for their issuance; combinations of VC’s for proper verifiable presentation
Reputation system provides additional assurance for holders while exploring SSI value chain
While interacting with issuers and verifiers peer-to-peer decentralized nature of connections is still present: no VC data is open to the Trust Registry.

Strict legal rules may define the only bodies who have the right to issue VCs of a specific type (e.g. medical certificates). Trust registry provides flexible search and filtering capabilities for VC holders.
Find services and their requirements
Trust registry acts as a single discovery gate for finding services depending on what types of VCs the Holder has in his wallet.
